It is a requirement of Oregon Administrative Rule “333-061-0070“ (Link) that customers are responsible for the purchase, installation, inspection, annual testing, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of their Backflow Prevention Assembly (BPA). The State of Oregon requires all water purveyors to implement cross connection control programs that meet the requirements of this rule.
Sunriver Water LLC has adopted a program to assist customers with the annual testing requirements for backflow prevention assemblies. The program provides annual testing by State-certified testers for all privately owned backflow prevention assemblies located within the Sunriver Water LLC service area.
If you would like to register for this program, complete an “Opt-In” /”Opt-Out” Authorization form and return by any of the following methods:

Customers who choose not to enroll in Sunriver Water LLC’s annual testing program can OPT OUT by selecting the “Opt Out” box on the authorization form. Please note that customers who OPT OUT and fail to provide the backflow prevention assembly test results by June 30th of each year will automatically be tested by Sunriver Water and will be billed $40.00.

We believe that you, our customer, are best served by allowing Sunriver Water LLC to annually test your backflow prevention assemblies.
